Traffic Group, which has operated for thirty years in the area of sports marketing, created a football club- company: Desportivo Brasil. In order to train and prepare young football talents to work in professional clubs in Brazil and abroad. The company provides total training for boys aged thirteen to twenty. This includes technical and physical training, for the formation of highly specialized and skilled players. Desportivo has upgraded its infrastructure for training and medical, psychological and educational care of the athletes.

Desportivo Brasil has categories Sub-15, Sub-17 and Sub-20 and also Professionals. All the infrastructure of the club is located in Porto Feliz, at the Traffic Academy.

"Through this work we will contribute to the technical training and education of young athletes, and provide conditions for them to become specialized. Generally speaking, the training these boys receive gives them the opportunity for a brighter future, even if not as a professional football player", said Felipe Lobo Faro, director of fotball business at Traffic Group.

Desportivo Brasil, founded on 11/19/2005, is part of a strategy of Traffic Group that encompasses two other projects focusing on footballwhich, although independent, may be complementary and present great synergy. In addition to the new club, other initiatives of the company are the purchase of a professional football team franchise in the United States - Miami FC - and a partnership with Estoril, in Portugal, a club now managed by Traffic.

Besides these initiatives, Manchester United has joined the Desportivo Brasil in 2008 for a football partnership that promotes the exchange of athletes and coaching staff from both clubs, with opportunities to try out new training methods and play friendly matches and international tournaments.
