The Traffic Academy is located in Porto Feliz, a hundred kilometers from São Paulo. It has a complete and diversified infrastructure with the mission of becoming a center of excellence in football.

Built on an area 156,000 square meters area, the Academy has five official-size soccer fields (100m x 70m), a training field for goalkeepers and a basic skills training ground. All these areas are equipped with the latest technological resources, such as Tifton 419 grass, suitable for high intensity sports activities, drainage and automated irrigation.

The Academy also has a restaurant equipped with industrial kitchen, assembled with specialist advice, according to five-star hotel standards, with refrigeration facilities, combined ovens and a central cooking island, in accordance with all Anvisa (Health and Sanitary Agency) requirements, and menu for athletes supervised by specialized nutritionists.

The site also has a physiology and medical department, physiotherapy area, Life Fitness gym, games room, relaxation area, recreation area, library, computer room with Internet access, auditorium, heated swimming pool, barbecue grills and comfortable accommodation for more than 200 people, including athletes and coaching staff. In the area of support, the site has seven dressing rooms (including one for visitor teams and one for referees), closets and a laundry room.

Following a vision of concern for the environment and health awareness that has always guided the actions of Traffic, all rainwater is treated and reused to irrigate the pitches and wash the paths is treated and reused at the Academy. Sewage treatment is also carried out internally. In addition, the Academy uses three sources of energy: solar, gas and electricity.

Under the coordination of orthopedist Dr. Moises Cohen, the Medical Department at Traffic Academy offers specialized care in sports medicine and exercise. Through a partnership with the UNIFESP (Federal University of São Paulo), residents graduating from the University carry out their internship at Desportivo Brasil. In all, there are more than fifteen professionals in the area of sports medicine and exercise, as well as orthopedic specializing in sports traumatology.

The person in charge of Training Center’s team of physicians is Ricardo Eid. To further modernize the medical department, which already has an Automated External Defibrillator; Traffic Academy has set up an Emergency Plan at the Training Center to enable prompter first aid attention, and has developed numerous service protocols.

Traffic Academy professionals and physicians are currently undergoing specific training for pre-hospital care. Prevention, health, and welfare of athletes are the main concerns of the Medical Department.
